Darjeeling BIO* - Fresh sachet

This first flush (1st harvest of the year) strikes with its soft elegance and its cup with the sweet taste of honey and yellow gold. It is a tea to enjoy in peace, ideal with delicate biscuits and cakes. Our Darjeeling comes from the Oaks Plantation which sits at an altitude of 1,600m and which only produces teas from thea sinensis tea bushes: an ideal prerequisite for exceptional highland teas. Indian teas have a very specific classification. This Darjeeling is labeled SFTGFOP1 (Special Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe), which means that the picking is very fine, with many buds, whole leaves, sorted to keep only the best. It is a black tea, even if we see very clear, even green tips; these are the buds of Spring. The freshness bags are zippable kraft bags in two layers: the outer layer is in kraft, and the inner layer in PLA. PLA, 100% biobased and biodegradable, is one of the first renewable polymers capable of competing with conventional polymers in terms of performance and product conservation.
