A London Dry Gin in a class of its own, for which the pharmacist at Deutsche Spirituosen Manufaktur finely tuned a good three dozen botanicals. On the nose, it immediately encourages you to look for the various aromas in your olfactory memory, which deliver the quite complex interplay with the clearly present juniper: the almost obligatory, but still so value-giving coriander stands next to spicy-fresh and citrus notes from lemon to lime to grapefruit. In addition, there is the spiciness of cardamom, paired with peppery nuances of several types of pepper. The whole thing is framed by fine herbal and spice tones. A potpourri of aromas is also experienced on the palate: the juniper is caressed by the essential oils of the citrus fruits, spices such as cinnamon, clove or nutmeg, which contribute spicy tones, and hints of herbs such as mint and chamomile. The intense and full-bodied taste lingers with full force for a long time and finally brings subtle lavender and thyme to light. Despite the complexity and concentrated intensity, the impression of a harmonious composition remains, which, due to its alcoholic mildness, spreads joy at room temperature or in a cocktail.
