My name is Diane, I am a textile designer and founder of a French artisan workshop, where I design and handcraft children's backpacks, women's pouches, personalized toiletry bags, handmade birth gifts and home accessories, in small series.
After a career in scientific research, I chose to follow my path: that of handmade, sustainable textile creation and a return to the essentials.
My mission is simple: to reconcile beauty and utility, and to restore value to everyday objects. I believe that beauty has a real power: that of anchoring us, of calming us, of reconnecting us to the present moment.
At Diane Studio, nothing is left to chance: I carefully select my materials (Liberty, double cotton gauze, gingham, etc.), I optimize each piece of fabric, and I work on a human scale, respecting my own rhythms and those of my clients.
My ambition is to offer a sincere alternative to mass production. An invitation to slow down, to consume less but better, and to choose objects that have a story, a soul, and above all a real usefulness in our modern lives.
