An adventure initiated in 1941 by Gilbert CASTAN. For 3 generations, the CASTAN family has shared a passion for spirits and experience in distillation. A new generation distillery was built in 2007 with the project to create a French whisky, which started around the family still in 2010.
The first whisky distillery in Occitanie, Maison Castan is recognized for the quality of its spirits, tradition and the art of distillation. The distillery offers several expressions in its range, combining aromas and know-how in the territory of Villeneuve-sur-Vère, in the Tarn. As a Farm Distillery, barley cultivation, brewing, distillation, aging and bottling are all done on site.
