An adventure initiated in 1941 by Gilbert CASTAN. For 3 generations, the CASTAN family has shared the passion for spirits and the experience of distillation. A new generation distillery was built in 2007 with the project of creating a French whiskey having started around the family still in 2010.
The first whiskey distillery in Occitanie, Maison Castan is recognized for the quality of its spirits, tradition and the art of distillation. The distillery offers several expressions in its range, combining aromas and know-how in the territory of Villeneuve-sur-Vère, in Tarn. As a Distillery Farm, barley growing, brewing, distilling, aging and bottling are carried out on site.
