Last of the range, VILANOVA ARGILE is a peated single malt, unchillfiltered, bottled at 43% from aging in ex French oak red wine barrels. Its peaty notes are produced exclusively with peat-dried malted barley. NOSE: Frankly peaty with powerful notes of iodine, chimney hearth (smoke) and brewed malt. MOUTH: Salivating, full-bodied, with great presence on the palate with an unusual saline touch on the finish. Where we find in retro olfaction the aromatic strength of the nose.
