
Felt on the nose: - A first nose of well-smoked peach - The second nose is centered on a round and suave vegetal peat accompanied by nuts - The third nose mixes fresh peat with notes of very ripe wood On the palate: - A frank attack all in woody and peaty roundness with notes of red grape - Followed by a sweet malted cereal which arrives with vegetal and smoky touches. Then subtle notes of pepper and chilli point their presence - A balanced and long finish which alternates between mint, liquorice and hazelnut with returns of very aromatic peat and wood. Technique: - A first aging in new French oak barrels with medium and medium long heating - The main aging in reused French barrels with blending in the following ratios: 40% Chinon 30% Cognac 30% Rivesaltes Overall description: A powerful and refined whisky, the roundness of the peat is accompanied by a very present woodiness which is tinged with spicy and fruity notes.
