Gin 'La Castagne' 70cl 43°

Our “La Castagne” Gin is not what you imagine… A marriage of carefully selected botanicals and forest harvests of roasted chestnuts, slowly distilled in our column still made in France.   An early morning stroll in a Normandy forest, with the heady scent of flowers and warm spices.   Our artisanal creations will take you off the beaten track.    The eye A splendid crystalline and pure dress.    The nose The light notes of morning dew give way to more robust notes of hot pepper.    The mouth A beautiful sweetness although no sugar was added after distillation, very slight bitterness.   Power and roundness in the mouth, with a soft veil which lines the palate thanks to distillation in a French haute couture still.   The chestnut brings roundness but also, as it has been toasted, a fine smokiness allowing the transition with the peppers.   A hot pepper then lengthens the length in the mouth.   At the end of the mouth, we find notes of fresh juniper.    Tasting advice: Alone in ice cream or with a simple, slightly sweet tonic. 43° / 70cl ARTISANAL & FRENCH Without additives and unfiltered
