Blended in small batches, Duncan Taylor has created a modern Blended Whiskey using peated malts from across Scotland and pays homage to the legendary, heavy, smoky old blends of yesteryear. Smokin' contains smoked whiskeys from distilleries across Scotland, no longer bound by regional definitions. The master blender has perfectly balanced the robust peat smoke flavors produced by Scottish distillers and complemented them with sweet notes of caramel and vanilla produced by the pairing of grain whiskey and bourbon casks. Smokin' is renowned for its rich flavor and uncompromising character, a full-bodied experience to savor. Nose: Smooth, clean and fresh peat smoke, with subtle citrus undertones. Sweet mocha coffee topped with vanilla cream, all with a hint of wet seaweed. Palate: Creamy and smooth with a whiff of ashy smoke on the front. A touch of milky caramel and chocolate, candied lemons in salt, vanilla syrup with a texture of butter and nuts. Finish: The sweetness fades to become pleasantly dry, a certain warmth of cloves and cinnamon. The smoke is slowly extinguished to give way to embers of peat. 70 cl - 40°
