Montebello - Old Rum 12 years Finish Quarts-de-Chaume - La Rencontre

This vintage was born from an encounter between two universes where stories and know-how intersect. 

A meeting between the François Carillon estate, recognized for its great white Burgundy wines, and the Montebello distillery which has been bringing exceptional Guadeloupean rums to life for nearly 100 years.                                                                            Tasting notes: Color: Mahogany color with tiled reflections.   Nose: Gluttony and complexity are the key words. 

Pastry world with nuts, precious wood, dried flower petals and apricot stones.   Mouth: Roundness with a touch of liveliness, raisins, minerality left by the wine, and small tangy red fruits. 

Fades gently, leaving a note of stewed apricot, precious wood and cigar box on the cheeks.   Finish: This rum leaves a juicy sensation in the mouth of vine peach poached in a sweet spice juice.                                                                            Barreled in August 2010 and bottled in July 2022.   236 day finish Limited series (605 bottles) 50cl - 44.6%
