Envisioning Catriona’s stylised, left-facing, often rather portly animals and birds on 3D products, Catriona and Flora set up Dog & Dome to do just that. Flora takes elements of Catriona’s original work and together they come up with new designs which adorn a range of sustainable, high quality and locally made homeware, kitchenware and stationery.
Dog & Dome is based in rural Derbyshire, in the Peak District National Park, which provides the inspiration for the designs. Catriona and Flora are able to tap into the expertise of the nearby cotton and silk industries that have a long tradition, allowing them to proudly support local businesses. To ensure the best quality products, Catriona and Flora liaise directly with these local suppliers with whom they have strong ongoing working relationships. They use ethically sourced, sustainable and vegan materials.
