A label promoting our working methods
For us, Biodynamics is an approach aimed at strengthening the fertility and health of our soils by promoting greater biodiversity.
It is characterized by values in line with our beings: healthy agriculture, natural products, respect for nature and the environment. In addition to protecting my vines with preventative products, we maintain the microbial life in the soil, which helps protect our magnificent terroir.
We ban all products that are harmful and toxic to the earth, such as fungicides, insecticides or acaricides. Our philosophy has been anchored in us for many years, and guides me to offer you biodynamic and natural Alsatian wines.
Déméter is the label that we have chosen to certify and promote our working methods. Its requirements are much stricter than the European organic label. Spring water found at the foot of the Vosges hills, dung and horn silica, a morning with a waxing moon or an evening with a waning moon: all elements conducive to a good soil balance. It is this work with nature that allows us to obtain grapes that express their full potential and to vinify Natural and Living Wines.
