Madrigal vintage wine 2017

Clear and brilliant color, a beautiful cherry red color, with light purple undertones. The rich and expressive nose develops aromas of liquorice, coffee, with chocolate notes. Airing also reveals beautiful stewed red and black fruits (strawberries, wild blackberries), as well as fruits in alcohol (kirsh). Pretty on the palate with a velvety, full and fleshy attack, which restores aromas of cocoa and spices, underlined by light notes of black fruits. The finish is marked by lightly powdery tannins and a little cocoa bitterness, perfectly balanced by a sweet freshness. It is a full-bodied and powerful wine, with a very good length in the mouth, which stays on this frame of cocoa and black fruit liqueur. GRAPES: 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah
