
An assertive, powerful red wine with silky tannins. Crunchy and fruity, it awakens the senses with its notes of spices and black fruits and is not unworthy of being enjoyed young. Blend: Syrah (40%), Grenache noir (30%), Carignan noir (15%), Mourvèdre (10%), Cinsault (5%) Aging: 12 months in vats Alcohol content: 13.5% Le Diable Rouge is a powerful, spicy, fresh and balanced red wine. Light barrel aging of several wines makes the tannins silky and supple. A wine made to accompany nice cuts of red meat or simmered dishes. Wine which can be drunk young, but which can be kept for between 5 and 8 years. This vintage is a tribute to the 152nd infantry regiments of Colmar, nicknamed "the red devils", a nickname acquired during the Great War.
