A family story
It was in 1891 that Basile VIGROUX initiated the history of vines and wine in his family. Romain VIGROUX his grandfather is the current owner of the Domaine.
Five generations of winegrowers have succeeded each other to contribute to the richness of today's vineyards. Before Romain, Firmin, Jean, René, Michel, Jean-Marie and Roger continued to develop the farm, increasing it from 4 to 80 hectares today.
Since then, this love of the winegrower's profession has been passed on from father to son while evolving with the times, in order to be able to offer quality products today and intended for a new generation of wine lovers.
Winegrower, a profession of passion
15 years ago, the challenge was high. Today, Romain and Caroline are happy with the progress made and always work with the desire to surprise and please thanks to their quality wines and their unique visual identity.
On the technical side, Romain ensures that the vinification respects the original product, which is the grape: controlled pressing, slow cold fermentation, in stainless steel vats, for fresh and fruity wines.
