A winery that looks like a Roman building with its cypress trees and its avenue of cork oaks facing the Pyrenees, a family vineyard planted on the land of Eluza, an ancient Roman city.
It is here that the Combes family, harvesting owners, creates wines in their image.
The Pountet estate is located in Eauze in the heart of Gascony. Here the work is focused on quality, favoring low yields and good concentrations to obtain the best from the vines.
Concerned about our environmental impact, it was only natural that we committed to HVE 3 certification and created a winery in line with our commitments: renewable energy, eco-designed building.
The vines are also monitored and managed in this spirit of balance and respect: organic amendment, grass strip every other row, maintenance and preservation of biodiversity, installation of beehives.
Our goal: to produce unique wines while minimizing our impact on our environment as much as possible.
