The estate was founded 200 years ago by the Sabatier family who transformed an old sheepfold into a wine estate: Domaine La Grange was born.
In 2007, it was taken over by Rolf and Renate Freund with the desire to make the estate a dynamic player in Languedoc wines. Rolf and Renate developed a passion for wine through their own marketing company in Germany: Weinkontor Freund.
They are now joined by their two children Johanna and Daniel who are stakeholders in the wine adventure and are 100% invested in the promotion of the estate in France and abroad.
