IGP Ariège - Tête Sage 2020

WISE HEAD Red wine – 14.7% vol. –2020 ARIÈGE PROTECTED GEOGRAPHIC INDICATION Grape variety: MERLOT aged for twelve months in 500 liter and 225 liter French oak barrels (new - 2nd wine) Elegant dress, dense and a dark garnet color. The nose is complex, notes of plum/forest fruits (blackberry). Scents of undergrowth as well as subtly roasted notes. On the palate, we find morello cherry with kirsh accompanied by notes of cocoa beans. The tannins are still very present but melted. This wine is round and velvety, full of length.    To decant before tasting All our grapes are harvested by hand, vinification without animal inputs (egg white, gelatin, etc.).)and the wines contain little sulphites according to the Nature & Progrès specifications.    conventional red wine: max. 150 mg/l SO2 our white reds: max. 70 mg/l SO2
