After my parents, Claude and Béatrice Lopez, purchased their first plot of land in 1987, the farm expanded over time, just like their family.
Initially focused on raising Limousin cattle and growing grain to feed the animals, our livestock gradually diversified to include lambs of the Berrichon and Lacaune meat breeds, Gascon black pigs, and Highland cattle.
Our crops have evolved; although a large part is still reserved for animal feed, we also grow crops for consumption. In 2016, myself (Carine, their daughter) and my husband Kevin joined the adventure by creating the brand Du Bio Dans l’Assiette in order to develop direct sales and short supply chains.
"Organic on the Plate" is the answer to all those who have questions about the origin of their meat, product traceability, good farming practices and compliance with health standards.
Wheat, spelt, buckwheat… are milled on the farm to offer you quality flours. Sunflower, rapeseed… are cold-pressed on the farm to offer you refined oils with preserved nutrients.
