SABA - Grape sugar

At Domaine de l'Airial, the word is given to grapes, precious wood barrels and time. Coming exclusively from the vineyards of the estate and produced in a 100% natural way, this SABA does not contain any caramel, coloring or added sulphites. SABA is a dense and sweet syrup obtained by slowly cooking the juice of freshly squeezed grapes. It is then refined in an oak barrel in order to emphasize its fruity character of ripe grapes and to bring slightly "toasted" and subtly vanilla notes. A natural sweetener, like honey, SABA can enhance flavors by being used in marinades, on sweet and sour dishes, and on desserts (strawberries, ice cream, pancakes, yogurts ...).
