THE EAU DE FOREST STORY
Kathrin Christians, OPUS Klassik Award winner, was traveling around the world as a flute player until Corona and lockdown stopped her concerts. She spent a fortnight isolated at home, wondering how she could use the time.
After a brief bout of boredom, the Heidelberg resident found an answer in 2021: she has always been interested in gin and she associates happy childhood memories with the forest. This is where the search for a gin recipe begins.
In 2023, the expansion will include spices that consist of 100% natural ingredients. Many of them can be used for cocktails. And Eau de Wald has also been certified organic since 2023.
What is your motivation:
"I want to enable us to enjoy innovative and creative enjoyment, with the best possible ingredients. And when I know that enjoyment connects us with friends and loved ones, then I can't imagine anything more beautiful."
