Deep in the Aude valley, in a listed site, the Castillou estate reveals a sanctuary of immaculate flowers. Cultivated then distilled with absolute respect for man and nature, our flowers are our pride – and the unique ingredient at the heart of organic floral waters of great purity, free of pesticides and harmful products.
In a family estate where the love of the earth has been cultivated for generations, we work every day to produce artisanal floral waters of great richness: unfiltered, without preservatives, our floral waters are the result of a distillation which exceeds the ratio of one kilo of plants to one liter of water, the latter coming directly from the estate's spring.
The hydrosols that we produce are regularly analyzed by an independent laboratory: essential oil content, composition, allergens and bacteriological quality. The results of these chromatographic analyzes are available on request or directly on our website.
The indications for the use of hydrolates that we give for information purposes are all taken from the work of the pharmacist M. Faucon (Treatise on scientific and medical aromatherapy Volume 2 - Hydrolates).
The methods of using hydrosols are very varied: very popular in cosmetics (direct application to the skin, hair, manufacturing of "DIY" cosmetics), in gentle therapy (naturopathy, aromatherapy, general well-being - in local application, in internally or inhaled), as well as in cooking (preparation of cocktails, preparation of dishes or pastries, promotes hydration by perfuming drinking water).
