Alder (Alnus glutinosa) is relatively soft wood and thus comfortable also in spas and saunas. Beautifully reddish and clear, untreated natural wood. Alder wood is the best choice for sauna environment. Tolerates also high temperatures for example on glazed balconies or sunny decks. This untreated version is to be used indoors in dry conditions. For outside use or for saunas, bathrooms and spas, must be treated to suit the purpose. Why not paint it with your favourite colour! Please note that cushions are sold separately.
