Alder (Alnus glutinosa) is relatively soft wood. Beautifully reddish and clear wood, very good against moisture. With oil finish, suitable for either indoors or outdoors. Tolerates also high temperatures for example on glazed balconies or sunny decks. Please note that cushions are sold separately. EcoChairs are shipped unassembled in flat packs.
