The secret

Émilie Vast, very inspired by the expectation of birth, a moment as mysterious as birth itself, has built a very nice story that bounces from page to page. On the right pages, animals in decorations of plants and fruits, like small illuminations, seem tormented by this secret. Left pages, the same animals, drawn in large flat colors, share the secret in dynamic layouts created by the morphology of each. These close-ups seem to project them towards the reader when they choose to confide, creating intimacy with them and giving great strength to the story.
