Children's Book: Songs from the Garden of Eden

Gathered in a book and a CD, 28 children's songs, lullabies and traditional songs from all the Jewish communities (Yiddish, Sephardic, Hebrew, Yemeni...) The lyrics (in Hebrew, Judeo-Spanish, Yiddish and Arabic) are reproduced in their original alphabet, also transcribed phonetically and translated into Spanish. An annex is included with comments that provide interesting information about each of the songs, explaining the origin, cultural context and instrumentation of each song. The CD presents a wide variety of musical styles (Arabic-Andalusian, Flemish, Gypsy, Klezmer, Yemeni...), giving special importance to the authenticity of the performers' voices.
