Children's book: Babushka's nursery rhymes and lullabies

This collection of songs shows the incredible richness of the Slavic repertoire. Belarusian, Polish, Russian, Slovak, Czech, Ukrainian and Yiddish children's songs. The lyrics of the songs are reproduced in their original alphabet, transcribed in Latin characters and translated into Spanish. In the annex there is rich information about the origins, gestural games and instrumentation of each song. The vibrant sounds of the balalaika, accordion, violin and cymbal appear on the CD with varied and luscious musical rhythms that enhance the warmth and authenticity of the performers' voices.
