Children's book: Happy nap

A little girl wakes up her dog. They interact, play and, finally, it is the dog who tucks her in so that she sleeps happily. A very simple story, with minimal text and subtle watercolors. A lullaby from a book... The illustrator and author, who has won several awards, manages to make a kind of tender poem from a simple everyday anecdote. The text, which names different actions – moves away, approaches, searches, finds, asks, gives – shows the basic movements that babies can do to browse the world around them and investigate what its inhabitants are like. Nursery school teachers will be able to take full advantage of it. And of course, it is a perfect book to share with the family, at nap time or at night.
