Children's book: The dictatorship of pigtails

Olga, Ana and Sofía find a trunk full of dresses and decide to organize a beauty contest in which it is essential to wear pigtails. The girls oppose Gabriel's parade with them, arguing that the boys are not beautiful and, furthermore, they don't have pigtails. The cat is also unfit because it's fluffy and gray (although he loves the look of it). They argue and, finally, the girls change Gabriel's clothes –according to them horrible–, and they make pigtails for him, they paint the cat pink... Everyone prepares for a jury of ants to choose the most beautiful or the most beautiful. But it turns out that the ants disqualify the contestants because for them beauty resides in... being small, black and with little antennae! They say that about tastes there is nothing written. Well, in this original book it is and, moreover, drawn. This story that emerges from a children's game is very interesting because it talks about the complex issue of beauty that adults must discuss with children: the desperate race of many in search of the perfect image, the discrimination against the "ugly" »and the bullying of those who do not match the beauty standards (protruding ears, short, chubby, glasses...), the question of where true beauty resides, outside or inside one... And it raises a key question : Does life, happiness, love happen to be more or less beautiful? The readers will give their opinion according to the taste of each one, if this album is beautiful. We intuit that many will give you the prize!
