Edouard Delaunay House
Founded in 1893 by Edouard Delaunay, this house distinguished itself very early on by the quality of its wines and quickly rose to the top positions among Burgundy houses. From the 1920s, its wines were distributed on all continents, to major institutions (Elysée, Senate), prestigious showcases (Nicolas, Maison Prunier) and major companies in the world of travel (Compagnie Générale Transatlantique and that of Orient Express, Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits, Cunard, Air France) who quickly made it one of their regular suppliers.
In the early 1990s, almost a century after its creation, experiencing the rhythm of life, the house had to be sold and slowly fell into oblivion. But at the end of 2017, Laurent Delaunay, great-grandson of the founder, bought the family house and began the rebirth of Maison Edouard Delaunay.
