Ellie uses her colourful, hand-drawn, painted and geometric illustrations to make sustainable homewares and paper goods, with the aim of bringing smiles to people's faces and keeping the planet happy. She sells her work online and through a growing list of stockists around the UK and Europe.
With EVERY item sold 2p is donated to environmental charities and projects.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
At the age of 7, Ellie pestered her local MP for glass (yes, glass!) bottle recycling. It worked! And from then on, campaigning for a fair respect for nature has been an integral part of her life and work, through design, blogs and illustration.
Ellie set up her eponymous brand in 2017, selling plastic-free, 100% recycled cards. It proved popular, so the range has expanded to include a selection of useful and made-to-last homewares, tote bags and paper goods.
There's nothing she loves more than making someone smile with an illustration. Inspired by her connection to the natural world and a love of strong colours and simple shapes, Ellie's illustrations have a unique style.
Ellie will only ever make products that are useful and made-to-last. Single-use is not in her vocab! The materials used to print on are always recycled or made in a genuinely sustainable way, and reproduced using environmentally conscious printing companies in the UK and Sweden. All packaging used is upcycled, recycled, recyclable or biodegradable.
With the 2p per product donations, Ellie supports a range of charities and organisations which are work in the following areas: Tree and kelp-planting for carbon capture and localised community jobs, sustainable agriculture, plastic-free seas and rivers, marine conservation and woodland conservation.
These are all printed on 100% recycled card and come with grey, textured envelopes, also 100% recycled. Ellie works with a UK-based printing company with top notch eco-credentials. Cards are packaged either naked. Card-catches (side stickers) are available on request.
