EMBUTIDOS HORTANCO is a family business that produces artisan sausages located in Tafalla, registered under the seal of Artisans of Navarra - REYNO GOURMET. The family has been making sausages for more than 80 years.
At the end of the 70s, the idea of creating a small sausage manufacturing factory arose. They began to make the first cured sausages, chorizo cular and chorizo string in an artisanal way. In the year 2000, they opted to open a new line of fresh products such as chistorra, birica-type choricillos and fresh sausages.
In 2020, the new facilities were inaugurated in the Nava Industrial Estate with the aim of giving the company a greater production capacity as well as how to diversify the range of products and formats.
The chistorra is the star product of EMBUTIDOS HORTANCO, being made both sweet and spicy. In addition, it has been recognized with the award for the best chistorra in Navarra (2012 and 2014) and the third prize (2010, 2016 and 2018).
