Almond Buccellati - Scimeca

In Sicilian dialect “Cucciddati”, in ancient times a classic Christmas sweet, now accepted in all periods of the year. They contain a jam of chopped almonds and drops of dark chocolate, enclosed in a crunchy shortcrust pastry shell. ​ Ingredients: 00 flour, eggs, lard, sugar, ammonia, yeast, milk. ​ Filling: Toasted almonds, Sugar, Cinnamon, Orange cubes, Chocolate chips, Flavourings. ​ Allergens: Wheat.
