USAGE
Suitable for both cold and hot dishes, Buddha bowls or breakfast. Chemical free & food safe. Each bowl is naturally unique and slightly different. Use it with love and they will last a lifetime. Preferably not in the dishwasher.

PACKAGING
The packaging is in Dutch, French and English.
It is printed on a very environmentally friendly type of paper - PAPER WISE -.
The coconut bowls are proudly packed in a sheltered workshop here in the Netherlands that we are happy to work with.

ORIGIN
Our bowls come from Vietnam where the most beautiful and largest coconuts grow. The coconut shell is the hard core of the coconut that remains after the green husk has been removed. This core or bowl serves as protection for the pulp, coconut water and oil. Most coconut bowls end up as waste on the pyre once the pulp has been removed. An eternal shame when you consider what beautiful bowls nature has created! But not our nuts! After picking and peeling, they are polished by hand and these beautiful bowls remain. With these coconut bowls you prevent a mountain of waste and give the people there the opportunity to earn something extra with their coconut palm.

FAIR TRADE
These bowls are hand sanded and polished by women/mothers who are often excluded from the global economy. They receive a fair wage and work under safe conditions in local craft workshops. We see that when women become financially independent, their children, families and the entire community benefits. In this way the cycle of poverty is broken. CO2 NEUTRAL
Coconuts absorb more CO2 than is necessary for transport to Europe. These coconuts come over the water this way. So far this is the most environmentally friendly mode of transport. It emits much less CO2 than, for example, by train or plane. In addition, you do not lose any CO2 by burning the coconut as waste. More than CO2 neutral.


OUR MISSION
For some solutions you only need to take a small step back in time. The time before microplastics, when 'natural' was still very ordinary. In our opinion, this is where the solutions to today's problems lie. Made with love, nature gives us the most beautiful gifts. And actually that's all we really need, the trick is just seeing the weather.
