Anne Thomas began to create her first jewels in 2005. Self-taught, she lets herself be carried away by the work of ceramics. With her hands in the ground, she models necklaces, earrings and bracelets. In 2010, she was trained at the Alchimia contemporary jewelry school in Florence. A new world of creative possibilities opens up to her! Jewels gilded with fine gold and with care become his signature. She imagines very graphic collections, with clean and timeless lines. She obviously does not forget ceramics: her ceramic kiln is very close to her, always ready to welcome her creations and her games of shapes and colors.
In 2023, it's a new stage for the designer from Lyon. She left the Anne Thomas brand (which now only offers shoes) to imagine a new brand: Ennato.
Ennato, these are the letters of its name passed into a shaker, a new brand, a new impetus but values that remain strong and unchanged: local manufacturing, a network of French craftsmen with precious know-how, beautiful jewelry , timeless and guaranteed for life.
With Ennato, Anne Thomas remains faithful to her research into shapes and materials, but wants to further enrich her approach: for the launch of her new brand, she worked with various photographers located in the four corners of the world so that they pose a new look and offer a different angle of view on his creations. And new artistic collaborations will soon arrive!
His inspiration? It comes to her from vintage objects that she likes to hunt for in the early morning or from walks in nature with her sons. All three collect leaves and flowers in a herbarium and marvel at their organic beauty. In her small workshop in Lyon, surrounded by her jeweler's tools and her ceramist's tools, Anne Thomas experiments and lets ideas flow.
She will continue to work with craftsmen in France with precious know-how and likes to highlight this network of workshops that give life to her creations.
