 Grapefruit essential oil is obtained by cold extraction from the peel of Citrus Paradis and is an excellent aromacology remedy. Grapefruit is a relatively young citrus fruit. In fact, its origins date back to around the mid-1700s, until 1830, however, it had no botanical distinction. The use of grapefruit was initially purely ornamental; according to some scholars it was already used in Asia as a beauty product for skin care, to purify it. In aromacology it is considered the "smile" oil, as it promotes good mood, increases self-confidence and stimulates vitality, attenuates emotional imbalances.
