Thanks to the marten/cat protection inside, the young birds are well protected from predators! The metal woodpecker guard also prevents other birds from enlarging the 45 mm entrance hole and crowding out the nesting animals. The professional bird's nest box is handcrafted to a high standard in close cooperation with Palatinate workshops for disabled people, who are paid absolutely fairly above the minimum wage. The 2 cm thick local FSC solid wood from sustainable forestry from our trusted forester and sawmill, in combination with rust-proof Phillips screws, promises an extra long service life! To love the animals and our environment, we only use natural wood without chemical treatments! Your new handmade bird box is 100% rainproof! We have even carefully coated the roof with natural water-repellent linseed oil, so that your garden gem can withstand the weather for a long time!
