In the 1940s, Mr. BUR noticed how France was rich in talented little-known artisans making delicacies. Mr. BUR suddenly feels his vocation to make them known to the greatest number of people.
At the time, modern commerce gave birth to the first self-service stores, then soon to the first hypermarkets. It was at this point that Eric Bur had the idea of bringing together his high-quality products under one banner. He was so proud of it that he made them bear his own name: the Eric Bur brand was born.
