The Flóki Double Wood series (literally "double wood" in French, synonymous with maturation in two different types of barrels) of Eimverk Distillery is what one could call the distillery's test laboratory. It is under this label that Eimverk is experimenting with innovative recipes for its Flóki whisky, such as maturation in casks of Icelandic birch or craft beer cask.
