The 17 hectares of Château Pindefleurs benefit from a thirty-year-old vineyard combining Merlot and Cabernet Franc, planted at the foot of the slope in the geological extension of Château Angélus. The estate benefits from the most modern winemaking techniques: green harvests, early leaf stripping, gentle maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, frequent pumping over, traditional vertical pressing, aging in oak barrels renewed each year... Passed on from one generation of enthusiasts to the next, a strong and authentic bond attaches Dominique Lauret, its owner, to Château Pindefleurs. She produces a particularly well-named wine, for the powerful bouquet it offers, and the happy marriage between body and delicacy. Thickness and refinement, strength and finesse are balanced. The complex aroma is punctuated with lasting touches of ripe red berries. 90% Merlot 10% Cabernet Franc We can observe a garnet color with purple reflections and a beautiful shine. On the nose we feel the fruits and the flower which mingle to form a harmony. We smell blueberry, violet, and a few roasted touches that spice it all up. On the palate, the wine shows a nice freshness in its youth. Over time the mouth will become more silky. Here the fruit expresses all its beauty and its delicacy.
