Enclos Haut Mazeyres, a 100% Merlot cuvée, comes from old vines located on the upper part of the property, the sunniest part. Château Enclos Haut Mazeyres spends 18 months in barrels (70% in 300L and 30% in 400L) before being bottled. Château Enclos Haut Mazeyres often reveals aromas of cherry, oak or smoke and sometimes also aromas of tobacco and black cherry. This wine with a beautiful purple color presents a frank and greedy attack. The slight power of this cuvée is in perfect balance with its aromatic Merlot frame.
