EUGIN SLOE GIN

Our version of a classic British liqueur, is obtained by macerating wild sloes in a version of our Number 7 specially distilled for this recipe. The most typical aromas of Gin take a back seat, to leave room for the intensity of these autumn berries, which give enveloping hints of fruit and almond. It is a Sloe Gin characterized by the total absence of added sugars, other than those naturally present in the berries, which lends itself to multiple variations of classic cocktails or to be enjoyed straight. Tasting Notes Fruity scents clearly emerge on the nose: first cherry, black cherry, then veering towards blackberry and a slight hint of almond and marzipan, almost sweet. The fruity aromas are maintained on the palate, where the sweet sensation on the nose is balanced by the sour but well-balanced one of the berries, kept intact thanks to the absence of added sugar. The presence of the other typical botanicals of Eugin Numero 7 gives it a good softness, balancing the intense taste of sloes. The finish is rich, enveloping, with a revival of almond notes and a pleasant astringent sensation that invites you to drink again.
