Description WHERE DOES OUR CASTOR OIL COME FROM? A small island nestled in the heart of the Caribbean, Haiti has many treasures buried in the lush nature that surrounds it. It all starts in the backyard of Eva's grandparents in the village of Piton. In the middle of a green landscape, the whole family is in the kitchen for a most captivating recipe. The main ingredient: castor beans. These seeds come from a tree commonly called castor bean. A prodigious vegetable oil is extracted from it: black castor oil from Haiti. Called lwil maskriti in Haitian Creole, this natural product is obtained by a traditional ancestral process. The castor seeds are roasted and crushed before being immersed in boiling water, and this, until an amber-colored oil is obtained, accompanied by a scent of roasted hazelnut. This is the process of making black castor oil according to pure Haitian tradition. This traditional manufacturing process preserves the best of omega 3, 6, 9 fatty acids, vitamin E, and ricinoleic acid. All these elements contribute to making this oil a unique product in the world. WHAT IS HAITI BLACK CASTOR OIL USED FOR? Black castor oil from Haiti, or Lwil Maskriti in Haitian Creole, is a multifunctional product, allowing to: - Stimulate the growth and thickening of hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, nails and beard - Sheath the hair and make it more robust - Seal the hydration of the hair fiber over the long term - Overcome dry and brittle hair - Protect and fortify damaged hair HOW TO USE HAITI BLACK CASTOR OIL? TO ACCELERATE GROWTH AND THICKEN HAIR (Work on a clean, dry scalp) Apply the equivalent of a pistachio seed of castor oil to the entire scalp and massage until completely absorbed. It is recommended to perform this operation twice a week. Hair will grow faster and gain thickness. The oil can also be applied on eyebrows, eyelashes, beard and nails. TO MAINTAIN HAIR FIBER HYDRATION (Work in sections on clean hair) Apply the equivalent of a little less than a teaspoon of castor oil to your section after moisturizing it with moisturizer or water. The application of the oil will seal / finalize the hydration process. AS AN OIL BATH OR DEEP TREATMENT In an oil bath, apply about 3 to 5 tablespoons of castor oil to the hair, leave on for about 45 minutes under a heating cap, then proceed to shampoo and then to the treatment. In deep care, add 5 tablespoons of castor oil in your conditioner or mask then proceed as usual. IN MASSAGE OIL Heat the desired amount of castor oil in a water bath, then spread the oil and massage until completely absorbed. TO MAINTAIN THE BEARD WITH HAITI BLACK CASTOR OIL Apply 2 drops of castor oil daily to your beard, massage then comb. Your beard will grow faster and soon become much thicker.
