Tile magnet The untreated natural stone travertine is a more or less porous limestone of a light, usually yellowish to brown color that precipitates as spring lime from cold, warm or hot freshwater springs.   The precipitation of the natural stone is caused by the heating of the water in the air, whereby carbon dioxide escapes, which reduces the solubility of the lime.   The small cavities and holes were created by trapped plant parts during the formation of the rock.   The travertine is permeable to water and therefore keeps the soap pleasantly dry.   Use: The travertine can be used as a decorative soap dish or as a coaster.    Rectangular 3 x 3 cm - Ceramics - gently rounded top edge with inclusions, each one is unique - unglazed, magnetic back These are always handmade to order so a slight variation between individual tiles is to be expected.
