The Laxagueborde family, from the Uhartia farm, specializing in the production of farm duck foie gras in the South West of France, in the Basque Country, a few minutes from Béarn and Landes, is a small business that was founded in Barcus en Soule in 1990.
LA FERME UHARTIA, founded by Gérard and Marie Laure Laxagueborde, was initially a simple duck farm and a corn force-feeding workshop before launching into the artisanal production of farm products using Amani's recipes.
Today, their daughters, Cathy and Patricia, run the business along with Cathy's husband, Patrick. Together, they took over the torch of the Uhartia farm!
