The Laxagueborde family, from the Uhartia farm, specializing in the production of farm duck foie gras in the South-West of France, in the Basque Country, a few minutes from Béarn and Landes, is a small business that was born at Barcus en Soule in 1990.
LA FERME UHARTIA, founded by Gérard and Marie Laure Laxagueborde, was first a simple duck farm and a corn-feeding workshop before launching into the artisanal production of farm products using Amani's recipes.
Today, their daughters, Cathy and Patricia, run the business along with Patrick, Cathy's husband. Together, they took up the torch of the Uhartia farm!
