LIPOCHOLESTEROL®

LIPOCHOLESTEROL® is a combination of 2 ingredients: red yeast rice and Lipophytol® microcapsules. Lipophytol® is an extract of plant sterols, pine phytosterols, contributing to the maintenance of normal cholesterolemia. They are microencapsulated to increase their efficiency. Indeed, these phytosterols compete with ingested cholesterol, reducing its absorption in the blood. Red yeast rice is made by fermenting a microscopic fungus, Monascus purpureus. The red yeast rice used is dosed in Monacolin K.
