n°41 · The Pink Dolphin

The dauphinella is the flower of lightness and optimism. Before being pressed, its flower resembles the shape of a bird's paste, hence its nickname, Larkspur, a very light-running bird! Some see in its flowers the shape of a dolphin (as they were drawn on old coats of arms), hence its Latin name "delphinium". Its flowers form a beautiful spike and display very varied colors, from blue to pink. In ancient superstitious myths, dolphins were believed to have powers that scared away ghosts.
