Organic buckthorn – Intestinal movements-

Organic buckthorn roots, or Rhamnus frangula, are an excellent stimulant for the intestines, liver, spleen and bile. They have laxative and purgative properties and can put an end to intestinal disorders as well as hepatic or biliary insufficiencies. Buckthorn can also act against intestinal parasites and relieve constipation and hemorrhoids. In addition, buckthorn bark, harvested in France, is consumed as herbal tea or mother tincture (alcohol-based preparation to be consumed in drops). Their flavor is sweet and slightly bitter; you can add a little sage or thyme to your preparations to enhance the taste.
