Why Hard Cider?
Traditional cider is produced through a long, natural fermentation process that uses the yeasts present in pressed apples. Inspired by Anglo-Saxon cider, FREIA is produced with a short, controlled fermentation, thanks to beer yeasts selected for the aromatic profile they give to the final drink. The term “Hard” is added to emphasize the high alcohol percentage of the drink.
