Presented in April 2023 by the young Parisian brand, the Gamel Helmets helmet, Le Remarquable stood out for its unique features, serving the safety of its users.
After a well-conducted crowdfunding campaign and various functional improvements made to the production version, Gamel Helmets is proud to announce the arrival of its helmet on the market from March 2024.

With the French enthusiasm for cycling on a daily basis, the entire territory has seen its population of road users shift in favor of soft mobility. But if this share of cyclists remains in the minority throughout the country, it nevertheless represented 9% of fatal accidents in France in 2022. And although one in three deaths could have been avoided by wearing a helmet, the vast majority of accident-prone situations involve a lack of visibility for cyclists and other users of soft mobility devices.
However, making yourself visible in traffic with only the obligatory devices, at the height of motor vehicle lights, can be moderately effective. It is precisely in response to this context that integrating a light signature on the helmet, in the high position, makes sense. Popularized by different brands such as Livall, Lumos, Cosmo Connected and Overade, the popularity of this approach is well established.
But where these different players offer products restricted to rear lighting or requiring the use of remote controls, the Le Remarquable helmet has established itself as the first illuminated bicycle helmet to operate with an intelligent sensor, listening to movements of its user. ÉEquipped with a gyroscope and an accelerometer, this helmet is in fact the first to integrate a turn signal system activated with a nod of the head.
Turn left ? Nod your head succinctly in the direction taken; An audible signal will sound to notify you that the indicator has been activated for the next 8 seconds. ÉAlso attentive to your changes in pace, its onboard accelerometer is responsible for activating a large brake light at the slightest braking. No more risk of surprising the users following you.
High-end technology for everyone.
Designed for its ease of use, the Gamel Helmets helmet, Le Remarquable, does not have any third-party accessory connectivity. Unlike products integrating Bluetooth connectivity that is often futile, everything here has been designed to directly meet the needs of users. It can be used without a smartphone, requires no external command and can therefore be used by a wide category of users, from the least tech-savvy to the most fans of self-service machines.
In use, its wide LED strips offer the user optimal visibility from all angles. Incorporating four operating modes, the Gamel Remarquable can be used in different visibility conditions, as well as in more sporty practice by inhibiting the triggering of turn signals. Although they integrate perfectly into the shell of the helmet, all of the electronic modules have also been assembled without glue and remain removable, maximizing the lifespan of the helmet.

With a weight of 390g and a thermoformed assembly that meets the best market standards, Le Remarquable rivals its passive counterparts by offering optimal support and protection on impact. Offered at €249 including tax in an adjustable size from 55 to 59 cm head circumference, the inner shell can also be enhanced with thicker welcome foams, for a better fit.
