Gin de Cologne is distilled with a lot of love by hand in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. With over 12 "botanicals" such as lemon, orange and lime peels, lavender and hibiscus blossoms and of course juniper.
With this taste, Gin de Cologne becomes "Everybody's Darling".
The feedback is exclusively “very good” or “good”. We even reach people who don't actually like gin and tonic, because gin de cologne isn't that bitter and doesn't taste "so much like alcohol".
Behind Gin de Cologne is not a large spirits company but the marketing expert Abbass Khatami (45), who with his advertising agency
has been working for well-known beverage brands (including Gaffel Kölsch + Aperol) for over 10 years.
The new gin is very well received by the people of Cologne. But gin de cologne should not only inspire the people of Cologne. Inquiries from "Cologne fans" and Cologne residents who do not live in Cologne come from all over Germany almost every day.
In addition, Gin de Cologne sees itself as an ambassador for the city of Cologne. "The idea is that the many Cologne tourists take our gin home with them and thus advertise our beautiful city in China, Australia and the USA". For this purpose, extra 100 ml mini bottles were produced as a Cologne souvenir.
